I was tasked with bringing a touch of color and local flair to the new WeWork building's terrace at Palmas Hills 1 in Mexico City. My solution was to design two prints for the ping pong tables, inspired by traditional Mexican and American textile prints. The vibrant and eye-catching designs add a fun and playful element to the terrace, while also paying homage to the rich cultural heritage of the region.
One of the prints is inspired by traditional textile designs from Navajo culture and the other one is a new version of a previous design that I've done during the summer.
The prints have been applied as films on the ping pong table surface.
They are very resistant!
